lidar h5 file naming convention

CALIOP_ocean_monthlyyyyymm.h5

CALIOP_ocean_monthly = monthly particulate back scatter from CALIOP lidar data
yyyy = year
mm = month of year
h5 = hdf5 file type

Notes:

The monthly CALIOP bbp is 1 by 1 degree and is stored in a 361 x 180 grid

lat=-90+0.5:1:90-0.5;
lon=-180:1:180;

this representation of longitude gets matlab to plot global maps with no gaps

bbp is retrieved by two methods
method 1 is using MODIS monthly kd to retrieve bbp;
method 2 is using only CALIOP depolarization ratio to retrieve bbp

each h5 file contains these variables:
